Great Spotted Woodpecker- Grote Bonte Specht(Dendrocopos major)

The great spotted woodpecker is 23–26 centimetres long, with a 38–44 centimetres wingspan. It is found in many types of woodlands, forests and parks. Often spotted in the cityparks in gardens on feeders. It’s the most numerous woodpecker of Europe being widely distributed in Europe.. The food mainly consists of insects, seeds, fruits, scraps, eggs, chicks and small rodents.
